DOC NYC
DOC NYC is the country’s largest documentary festival with over 130 films and events; and over 100 special guests. “DOC NYC has quickly become one of the city’s grandest cinema events,” wrote the Wall Street Journal.
As communications and festival coordinator (2013 to 2015) , I worked with the DOC NYC team to:
Manage the full website redesign to modernize and streamline the festival’s online presence.
Design web and social media graphics to promote screenings and DOC NYC Pro program.
Redesign and produce festival eblasts (monthly throughout the year, daily leading up to the festival).
Manage incoming and outgoing print traffic, ensuring 100+ feature and short film tapes were in house and tech-checked for screenings.
Communicate with filmmakers regarding deadlines for print traffic and promotional material.
Create Run of Show documents for festival staff and venue managers to reference for every festival screening and event.
