J. Paul Getty Museum
The J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center in Los Angeles houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs.
As the education intern (2008), I worked with J. Paul Getty Teacher Programs department to:
Develop a lesson plan for the museum’s educator resources website – Sculpting a Message: From the Counter-Reformation to the Present Day
Coordinate summer teacher development workshops, Arts and Language Arts and Secondary Teachers’ Institute.
Model and teach an art class about illuminated manuscripts during a teacher development workshop.
