The Photoville FENCE
ThePhotoville FENCE is an outdoor photography exhibition series with an annual audience of more than 5 million visitors. Over the past 9 years, THE FENCE has consistently attracted exceptional work by talented photographers from around the world and the selected projects are presented in a series of large-scale, curated, outdoor exhibitions across 12 cities in the United States: Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Santa Fe, Calgary, Denver, New Orleans, Sarasota, Fargo, Durham and Seattle.
My role as project manager (2013 to present):
Support the production of the outdoor photo installation which is displayed in public parks in five cities — Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Houston and Santa Fe.
Manage the process from the open call for submissions to jurying to collecting high res images for production.
Serve as artist liaison through the installation process.
Communicate with 50+ international jurors to select featured artists.
Manage communications and marketing to publicize the project as a contest, and also as a public installation.
Consult on branding and website redesign.
